The Brunts School Roll of Honour

The book lists all pupils who served in World War 2 not just those who died due to their service in the war. Listed alphabetically with rank and regiment. Those who died are annotated with killed on active service, missing repored killed etc. also those held as POWs are also annotated and military awards are also mentioned. Female pupils are listed under their married name with their maiden name in brackets.
As Brunts School was a co-ed Grammar school some of the pupils were from villages outside of Nottinghamshire such has Langwith, Shirebrook and villages on the Notts/Derbys border around Worksop.
