Son of John Henry and Edith Brelsford of 37 Sheepbridge Lane, Mansfield.
He married Ivy M Tribe in the summer of 1941, so only married a few weeks before his death.
Ivy lived with her parents William And Ivy at 21 Coronation Street, Mansfield in 1939 and worked as a typist/cashier. In 1944 she married John Birkett

Joined up in May 1940 at the age of 19.

Married only two months ago to Miss I. M. Tribe of 21 Coronation Street, Mansfield. Sgt-Obsr Harold Brelsford whose parents lived at 37 Sheepbridge lane, Mansfield was reported last week-end to be missing after an operational flight over enemy territory.
He joined up in may 1940 at the age of 19 after attending Brunts School where he was studing for a Civil Sevice Examination. He was on leave on Monday of last week returning the following Wednesday morning.

Mr Tribe who had given the Blood Bank to the hospital as a memorial to Sgt Brelsford, RAF, who was reported missing had not previously wished his name to be disclosed. Since it was hoped that favourable news might be received. Unfortunately official notification has been received of his death and the board expressed their sympathy with Mr Tribes in his bereavement.
