On the east wall of the George chapel is a stained glass window commemorating the fallen of the second World War, which was erected following fund raising by the West Bridgford Branch of the British Legion. The dedication service was on Sunday 5th February 1950.

At the bottom of the. window is wriiten, "They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old. Age shall not wearythem nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them. A.D 1939-1945.

A roll of honour is to be found in a cabinet by the West wall of the church.

The first leaf is inscribed " West Bridgford Branch of British Legion 1939-1945 " and the next with "They shall not grow old as we are left grow old; Age shall not weary them , nor the years condemn , At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them" Then is written 'name rank and service of citizens of West Bridgford who fell in the 1939-1945 war' followed by this list of names.
