Pleasley Vale, Mansfield
Roadside, Pleasley Vale, Bolsover, Derbyshire NG20 0SF. A rectangular sandstone ashlar pillar and pedestal on a raised stepped base. The memorial is surrounded by a raised flower bed, access steps and gravel path within iron railings. Dedication: ‘In grateful memory of the following who gave their lives for their country justice and freedom this monument has been erected by Wm Hollins & Co Ltd as a lasting memorial to their devotion (names) Their name liveth for evermore.’ The memorial includes the names of employees who worked for William Hollins & Co Mills in Nottingham as well as at Pleasley Vale.
