Norwell - St Laurence Roll of Honour
St Laurence, Norwell, Nottinghamshire, NG23 6JT. Board, inscription: 'To the Glory of God and in honour of the men from Norwell and Norwell Woodhouse who served their King and Country in the Great War of 1914-1919'. The ROH is on the east side of the porch door; a memorial to those who died in the Second World War is on the west side of the porch door. Norwell Parish Heritage Group has researched the history of men from the village who died in both world wars and with the support of a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund has produced a resource pack for the staff and children of Norwell Church of England Primary School, 'Norwell in Wartime, World War I and World War II' (c.2011).
