Descriptions and photographs of the ceremony are included two local history publications: 'The 20th Century in Lowdham', Lowdham Local History Society (1999, ISBN 0 953747107) and 'Lowdham a village through time 1800-2008', Lowdham Local History Society (ISBN 9 78 095478204 7). A photograph of the dedication of the memorial is also held in University of Nottingham Manuscripts and Special Collections (ref. MS 565/37). The memorial has been restored with new name panels
