He was the brother of Bernard, Leslie and and Leonard Davis who all lodged with the couple in 1911. Maud later lived at 95, Henrietta Street, Highbury Road, Bulwell, Nottingham. She married Thomas Mobbs O/N/D/1918. In 1939, they lived in Croydon where Thomas worked as a bus conductor.
