Frank Taylor was born in 1882 at Radford, Nottingham, he married his wife Sarah Jane Parker (born 9th June 1883 Radford) in 1907 at Nottingham, they lived at 55 Hazelwood Road, Hyson Green, Nottingham they went on to have a daughter Margaret Taylor born 3rd January 1916. In the 1911 census, Frank was living at 55 Hazelwood Road, Hyson Green, he is shown as being 29 yrs and a levers lace hand, he is living with his wife Sarah Jane 27 yrs a cigar maker, also living at the address is Ada Parker 19 yrs a cardboard box maker, she is a boarder

Military History

Private Frank Taylor enlisted at Nottingham whilst residing at Hyson Green, he served with the Hampshire Regiment and was killed in action on 27th March 1918, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Arras memorial.
