Family History

Arthur Hogg was born in 1895 the son of Tom a coal miner hewer and Lucy Rebecca Hogg née Hickling and the brother of Henry, Joseph, Tom, Eliza, Violet, Lizzie, Charlotte and Florry Hogg. Tom Hogg was born in 1863 at Grange, Derbyshire, Lucy Rebecca Hickling was born in 1871 at Underwood, married in 1891 their marriage was recorded in the Shardlow registration district. In 1901 they lived at 17 Chapel Street Bramcote and in 1911 at 12 Horace Avenue Stapleford (both Nottinghamshire).
