Archibald Frank Wyatt was born in 1899 at Sleaford and was the son of Marianne and the late Percy Robert Wyatt of Main Street Lambley Nottinghamshire. In 1911 the family are living at Maywood Farm Risley, Derbyshire his mother Marianne is 47 yrs and is a widow and housekeeper they are living with John Widdowson 68 yrs a farmer, Cyril Charles 16 yrs is an agricultural labourer, also at the address is his brother Archibald Frank 11 yrs a scholar.

Military History

Private Archibald Frank Wyatt initially served with the service number 100688 in the Sherwood Foresters Regiment he later served with the Reserve Cavalry, he was discharged from the Army on 11th July 1919 with tuberculosis and loss of a middle finger, he died on 19th December 1922 He is not on the CWGC website

Extra Information

His brother Private Cyril Charles Wyatt enlisted at Willesdon, Middlesex and served in the 4th battalion Middlesex Regiment. He landed in France on 4th January 1915 and was killed in action on 21st September 1915 he is buried in Brandhoek Military cemetery
