Thomas Hulme

Thomas Hulme (junior) was born in 1889 at Radford and was the son of Thomas (senior) a labourer and Mary Hulme née Gregory of 45 Cobden Street, Radford, Nottingham. His father Thomas (senior) was born in 1854 at Milton, Staffordshire, his mother Mary Gregory was born in 1860 at Radford, they were married in 1878 at Radford and went on to have 4 children, sadly two died in infancy or early childhood, their other surviving son was William born in 1899 also in Radford. Thomas Hulme (junior) married his wife Eva Reavill in 1910 at Nottingham, they lived at 3 Cobden Street, Radford, Nottingham, they had the following children, Eva born 25th December 1910, Harold 6th February 1912 and Edna born 17th July 1916. In the 1911 census Thomas Hulme (junior) lived with his family at 45, Cobden Street, Radford, Nottingham with his parents and are shown as Thomas Hulme 57 yrs a labourer he is living with his wife Mary 51 yrs and their son William 12 yrs a scholar and their married son Thomas 22 yrs a warehouseman and his family Eva 20 yrs and their daughter Eva Hulme 3 months of age. Following the death of Thomas Hulme (junior) his widow Eva was awarded a pension of 29 shillings and 7 pence a week which commenced on 16th December 1918
