Family History

Edgar Dale was born in 1892 the son of Thomas a colliery horseman below ground and Emma Dale née Bradley and the brother of Frank, Ethel, Albert and Winnie Dale. They lived at 6 Truman Street Kimberley Nottinghamshire. Thomas Dale was born in 1852 at Ingoldsby, Lincs, Emma Bradley was born in 1862 at Radcliffe on Trent, married in 1881 their marriage was recorded in the Bingham registration district.

Military History

Rifleman Edgar Dale enlisted at Nottingham he initially served with the service no 1672 in King's Royal Rifle Corps, he died of wounds on 19th February 1917 and is buried in Bray Military Cemetery.
