William Henry Linthwaite Tudor

William Henry Linthwaite Tudor was the son of Henry Linthwaite Tudor and Annie/Anne Ganley who married at Nottingham in 1872. Their children included: Lucy Anne (b.1872), Frances Ellen (b.1873/d.1874), Winifred Ellen (b.1874), Catherine Hannah (b.1876), William Henry Linthwaite (b.1877), Frances Alice (b.1879), Mary Elizabeth Linthwaite (b.1881), Florence Harriett Linthwaite (b.1882), Clara Lilian R. (b.1884) and Thomas Albert Linthwaite (b.1886). In 1881 the Tudor family were living at 44 Raleigh Street, Nottingham. In 1887 Anne Tudor died at Nottingham, aged 35. The 1891 census shows Henry Linthwaite Tudor, a widower, living by himself at 30 Lovats Yard, Nottingham. Most of the children, including William Henry Linthwaite, were living their widowed grandmother, Lucy Tudor, at 21 Oliver Street, Nottingham. The 1901 census has Henry Tudor lodging at 5 Portland Place, off Coalpit Lane, Nottingham. At the time of the 1911 census he was visiting a family in Sutton in Ashfield. Employed throughout his working life as an accounts clerk, Henry Linthwaite Tudor died in the Mansfield area, aged 65, in 1914. He remained a widower for the rest of his life. In 1900 William Henry Linthwaite Tudor married Emily Musson at Nottingham. Their children included: William Henry Linthwaite (b.1903), Samuel Albert Linthwaite (b.1905), John Robert Linthwaite (b.1906/d.1906), Thomas Ganley Linthwaite (b.1908/d.1914), Minnie Florence Linthwaite (b.1909/d.1909), Florence M. Linthwaite (b.1911), Hilda G. Linthwaite (b.1914) and Jesse Ganley Linthwaite (b.1919). They lived at: 22 Schooner Street, Radford [C.1901]; 3 Navarino Terrace Brixton Road, Radford [C.1911 & CWGC]. Emily Tudor did not remarry and died at Nottingham in 1938 at he age of 56.
