George William Hudson married his wife Minnie Heath in Nottingham in 1915 , they lived at 38 Norton Street Radford Nottingham.
Private George William Hudson, enlisted at Nottingham and served in the 15th (The King's) Hussars. He landed in France on 21st August 1914 and he was killed in action on 25th November 1917. He is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louverval.
In memoriam published on 25th November 1919 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “HUDSON.- In ever loving memory of my dear husband, Trooper George William Hudson, Hussars, killed November 25th, 1917.
