Military history

Died at Newark General Hospital of Tuberculous Meningitis caused by Miliary Tuberculosis Lung. Served 5 Group Bomber Command, RAF Syerston. Cremated at Nottingham Crematorium on 11 February 1942.

The applicant was by William R.G. Wright who lived at 19 Mayfield Terrace, Edinburgh and in the Crematorium records it is noted that ‘her ashes were taken away for burial at Victoria Falls in Canada’.

Victoria Falls are located in Zimbabwe but there is a Victoria Park in Canada at the Niagara Falls and she may have been buried there.
