Fingle Street, North Leverton with Habblesthorpe, Nottinghamshire DN22 0AD. Below the crown and laurel wreath decoration at the top of the marble tablet is the inscription, 'All men must die. It is only given to the few to die for their country', The inscription on the tablet reads, 'Sacred to the memory of the heroes of this parish who fell in the Great War 1914-1918 (7 names).' The memorial includes the places and dates of death. The names of two men who died in the Second World War have been added below the names of those who died in the First World War. The memorial was designed, and made in the studio of ecclesiastical craftsmen, G Maile and Son, Euston Road, London, and installed in the church in August 1920 (Cost £65 3s. 0d). The same month a wooden ledge was placed under the memorial tablet by J Stamp of North Leverton (cost 3/6d). The vases of flowers in the photograph of the tablet have been placed on this ledge.
