North Collingham - All Saints Church
All Saints Church, Low Street/Church Street, Collingham, Nottinghamshire, NG23 7NF. The memorial was unveiled by Lt Col W Coape-Oates DSO JP CC on Sunday 30 November 1919. Colonel Oates had taken command of the 2/8th Bn Sherwood Foresters on its formation in September 1914. The order of service has the names of the men commemorated on the memorial and includes their rank, unit and date of death (Nottinghamshire Archives (ref PR 23,509, South Collingham St John the Baptist).
