Arthur Rimmington

Arthur Reynolds was born in 1890 at Barkstone Le Willows and was the son Sarah Reynolds and the brother of George Reynolds born 1888 at Carlton Scoop. His mother Sarah married Tom Charles an agricultural labourer on 4th November 1890 at Spittle Gate, Lincoln. Her two sons took the name Rimmington following the marriage. . Tom Charles Rimmington was born in 1863 at Sudbrook, Lincolnshire and his mother Sarah Reynolds was born in 1865 at Carlton Scroop, Lincolnshire, they were married in 1890 their marriage was recorded in the Grantham Registration area, In the 1911 census the family were living at Union Street, Bingham and were shown as Tom Charles Eimmington 48 yrs an agricultural labourer , he is living with his wife Sarah 46 yrs and their children, George Rimmington 22 yrs a grocers van man and Arthur Rimmington 21 yrs a waggoner on a farm. Arthur Rimmington married his wife Gertrude Celia Stanley (born 28th February 1892) in 1913 , their marriage was recorded in the Bingham Registration district, they lived at Main Street, Lowdham and went on to have a daughter Annie Elizabeth born 3rd November 1915. His widow was awarded a pension of 18 shillings and nine pence which commenced on 26th November 1917.
