Military History

Private John Thomas Cooper enlisted at Mansfield whilst residing at Epperstone, he served with the 2nd battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment. He was killed in action on 10th October 1918 and is buried at Brancourt-Le-Grand Military Cemetery, France. Row A. Grave 15.
