Family History

He was the son of Arthur and Mary King. In 1901 they lived at 18 Oxford Street Bulwell. In 1911 he was lodging with his aunt and uncle William and Hannah Smith and their daughter Elsie at 108 Hucknall Road Bulwell.

Military History

He enlisted 28/8/1914 standing 5' 2" and weighing 108lbs. He arrived in France 16/3/1915. He received a very severe gunshot wound to the left thigh measuring 5"x1" and was discharged 'no longer fit for war service' 11/9/1917. He died J/A/S/1919.
