John Hayes Hall

John Hayes Hall was born in 1881 at Kneesall and was the son of Henry a farmer and Annie Hall née Hayes of Kneesall. His father Henry was born in 1845 at Kneesall and his mother Annie Hayes was born in 1850 at Wellow, they were married in 1876, their marriage was recorded in the Southwell Registration district, they went onj to have the folowing children, William b1878, Ada Annie b1879, John Hays b1881, Henry Thomas in 1889 and Edith Hall b1883. In 1901, they lived at 'Brickyard House' and in 1911 on a farm (both at Kneesall). In the 1911 census the family are shown living at Kneesall and are shown as Henry 66 yrs a farmer, he is living with his wife Annie 61 yrs and their children, John 30 yrs a farm worker, Henry Thomas 22 yrs a farm worker and Edith 28 yrs working at home.
