Father: George Camm, born in 1863 in Nottingham and working as a house painter & decorator. Mother: Mary Camm, born in 1863 at Sneinton, Nottingham. Brother: Frank, born in 1893 and working as a grocer's clerk. Sisters: Charlotte, born in 1883 at Sneinton and working as a pattern girl, Maude, born in 1885 in Sneinton and Florence, born in 1887 in Sneinton, and working as a pattern girl. The family lived at 1 Tree Yard, Plumtree Street, Nottingham (C. 1901) before moving to 19 Finsbury Avenue, Nottingham.

Military History

Cpl. Camm was sent to France following training and took part in the Battle of Arras. He was seriously wounded on 23/04/1917, and died the same day. He was buried at Peronne Communal Cemetery Extension
