James William Creamer was born in 1894 and was the son James and Annie Creamer, of Gosthorpe, Clipstone and later White House, Sutton Rd., Mansfield.
Military History
Lance Corporal James William Creamer enlisted at Mansfield whilst residing at Glapwell, Derbyshire, he served with the 1/8th battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment. He was killed in action on 17th October 1918 in the attack at Regnicourt, France and is buried at Fresnoy-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, Aisne, France. B.26
