Military History

Lance Corporal James William Creamer enlisted at Mansfield whilst residing at Glapwell, Derbyshire, he served with the 1/8th battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment. He was killed in action on 17th October 1918 in the attack at Regnicourt, France and is buried at Fresnoy-le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, Aisne, France. B.26
