Frederick Hind

Frederick Hind was born in 1888 at Nottingham and was the son of Frederick Charles a licensed victualler and Rachael Hind, née Moore of 107 Harcourt Street, Nottingham. His father Frederick Charles was born in 1864 in Nottingham and his mother Rachel Moore was born in 1863 in Draycott, Derbyshire, they were married in 1883 their marriage was recorded in the Basford Registration District, they went on to the have the following children all of whom were born in Nottingham, Lucy b1884, Frederick b1888 and Charles Henry b1890. His mother Rachel died in 1909 aged 46 yrs the death is recorded in the Nottingham Registration District. In the 1911 census the family are living at 107 Harcourt Street, Nottingham and are shown as Frederick Charles 47 yrs a hotel barman and licensed victualler he s a widow , he is living with his children Lucy 27 yrs acting as her fathers house keeper, Frederick 23 yrs a levers draughtsman and Charles Henry 21 yrs a hotel waiter. Frederick married his wife May Jackson (born 14th October 1887 ) in 1913 at Nottingham, they lived at 27, Fox Grove, Old Basford, and later 62 Exeter Road, Nottingham they went on to have a daughter Kathleen Mary born 5th July 1915. Following his death his widow was awarded a pension of 20 shillings and 5 pence a week which commenced on 23rd June 1919
