Wallace Williamson was born in 1897 the son of Charles a hair dresser and Emma Williamson (née Phillips). Charles was born in 1868 at Nottingham, Emma Phillips was born in 1870 also at Nottingham. Married in 1894, they had seven children, five surviving infancy - Wallace b.1897, Charles Robert b.1901, George Colin b.1902, Harold b.1906 and Clarence b.1907. In 1911, they lived at 21, Eland Street, Basford, Nottingham. Charles and Emma later lived at 4, Eland Street.
Wallace Williamson enlisted at Nottingham and landed in France on 28th February 1915. He is buried in Houchin British Cemetery

Wallace Williamson, 9th Sherwood Foresters (late 1/7th Robin Hoods), killed in action April 27th, 1918.
