George Hatfield born in Harworth, Nottinghamshire, in 1899 was the son of Joseph and Alice Hatfield
He was attested at Retford on the 22nd July 1916, passed his medical on 22 March 1917 and went to France 18 July 1917. He was reported missing presumed killed in action. He is commemorated on the Loos Memorial.
