John Morley Crampton was born in 1896 the son of Morley a receiving clerk and Annie Elizabeth Crampton (née Lucas.) Morley was born in 1872 at Mansfield, Annie Lucas in 1870 also at Mansfield. Married in 1895, they had four children - John Morley b.1896 Dublin, Winifred Annie b.1898 Sherwin Street, Nottingham, Albert Edwin b.1901 Beeston Rylands and Florence Kate b.1903 Beeston Rylands. In 1911, they lived at 52, Trafalgar Road, Beeston Rylands. At the time of John’s death his family were living at 4 Balmoral Road, Dumfries.
