In 1911 Sarah Ann and the girls are living with her widowed mother at 56 Portland Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. There is no trace of Leonard on the 1911 census nor in any military records for the period, or any recorded death. The reason Leonard is recorded on the memorial ( surname is mis-spelt as Bocking) is not known.
