Nottingham Evening Post, Deaths, Monday May 12th 1941: DAYKIN – William, beloved husband of Laura, father of Eileen and Glenys, died doing his duty. In the midst of life we are in death. Service St Paul’s 2.0. Interment 2.30 Wednesday. DAYKIN – In May, William, beloved son of William S and Edith. Resting where no shadows fall. DAYKIN – Bill, dear brother of Emily, Len, Syd, Gladys.
