Hilda May Priest was the daughter of James William and Ethel Emma Priest. In 1921 they lived at 5, St Paul’s Terrace, Hyson Green, Nottingham but had moved to 56, Lady Bay Road, West Bridgford by 1939.

Military History

Enemy bombers released their bomb loads over West Bridgford at 01.00 (on May 9th 1941). Damage to property and infrastructure was extensive and 41 Bridgford residents were killed.
