Private Joseph Savage served in the West Yorkshire Regiment. Enlisting on 18th September 1917 he served abroad. He was wounded a gun shot wound to his head (date unknown) and was discharged from the Army due to his disability on 6th September 1918. He was issued with a Silver War Badge number 443289 which was issued on 27th August 1918.
