Thomas Fallon was born in 1899 at Prescott the son of George a coal miner hewer and Mary Ellen Fallon née Hill of 66 Manvers Street Netherfield Nottingham. George was born in 1871 at Prescott, Mary Ellen Hill was born in 1874 at St Helens, married in 1891 in the Prexcott registration district they went on to have 9 children, 1 died in infancy or early childhood. In 1911 the family are living at 114 Newton Road, Lowtown, Lancashire. George is 39 yrs and is a coal miner hewer he is living with his wife and 8 children at the address Thomas is 11 yrs of age and a scholar.

Military History

Private Thomas Fallon enlisted at Earlestown, Lancashire whilst residing at Netherfield. he initially served with the service number 77844 in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. He was killed in action on 11th October 1918 and is buried at Duhallow A.D.S. Cemetery
