He was the son of Albert Edward and Lily Willis of Hyson Green Nottingham.
Military History
Willis was the Wireless Operator aboard Wellington III BK4000 which crashed in the UK during a training flight on 3rd March 1943. Also killed were Vaughan Stacey Allen, Arthur Frederick Ash, Alexander Rennie Burgess, Stanley Walker Shepherd and Edward Devereux Spratt who was the pilot.
