He was the son of John Henry and Kate Richardson and the brother of Ada and Frank Richardson. They lived at 199 Ilkeston Road Radford Nottingham.

Military History

Private Fred Richardson, 10th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, died on 26th November 1918 at the Military Hospital in Ripon. His body was returned to his family and he is buried in Nottingham General Cemetery.

Death notice published 29th November 1918 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “RICHARDSON. – On November 26th, at Military Hospital, Ripon, Signaller Fred Richardson, the dearly beloved younger son of J. H. and K. Richardson. Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away.
