William Alfred was the husband of Mary Kettle and they lived at 49 Bramcote Street, Radford, Nottingham. Following Williams death his widow Mary living at 49 Bramcote Street, Radford was awarded a pension of 20 shillings a week which commenced on 22nd September 1919.

Military History

Sapper William Alfred Kettle served with the 52nd Broad Gauge Operating Company, Royal Engineers, he died on 4th March 1919 at 54th General Hospital, France of pneumonia and is buried at Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France.
