Family History
At Nottingham in 1903, he married Kate Starr, who was born in the city in 1886. They had four children - Kate (b.1904), Albert (b.1909), James (b.1912) and Hilda (b.1915) McLoughlin. In 1911, they lived at 4, Villa Place, Lowdham Street, Nottingham.
Military History
He enlisted at Nottingham and was probably killed in fierce fighting around Dochy Farm near Zonnebeke during the 3rd Battle of Ypres (Passchendaele).
