Military History

Pte. Herbert Claude Taylor, enlisted at Harrogate, Yorkshire and served with the 11th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire) Regiment, he was killed in action on 28th July 1916. He has no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
