Family History

He was the son of William and Eliza Wilson and the brother of Ann, Florence E, Charles, Nelly, Kate and john Wilson. The family moved to Arnold 1894-95 and in 1901 they lived on Front Street. His father was the Police Inspector for Arnold. George had moved to Sheffield by 1911.

Military History

2nd Bn Formerly Royal Army Medical Corps He survived Gallipoli but died of wounds in France.
