Herbert Dudley known as Bert was born in 1897 at Basford, he was the son of Jane Dudley of Leverton's Road, Skegby. His pension record card shows his next of kin was his mother Jane of Levertons Road, Skegby however a guardian to his illegitimate child was Lilly Ball Springwood Terrace, Stanton, Mansfield.
Military History
