He was the son of Henry (died 1906) and Eliza Ducker and the brother of Ernest, Ethel and Catherine Ducker. In 1901 and 1911 the family lived at 44 Dickinson Street St Ann's Well Road Nottingham. He was the husband of Lily (née Breedon) Ducker and the father of John H and Noreen L Ducker. At the time of Percy's death their address was 128 Blue Bell Hill St Ann's Nottingham. Lily later moved to 51 Woodhouse Street Carlton Road Nottingham.
Gunner Percy Ducker, enlisted at Nottingham and served with the 278th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery, he was killed in action on 26th June 1917. He is buried in Dickebusch New Military Cemetery Extension. Grave Reference: II A 25
obituary notices published 12th July 1917 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “DUCKER. – Killed in action, June 26th, Gunner Percy Ducker, R.G.A., aged 26, dearly beloved youngest son of Eliza Ducker, 44, Dickinson-street. – In great grief from his sorrowing mother, brother Ernest (France), sister Florrie, and Daisy. “DUCKER. – Killed in action, June 26th, Gunner Percy Ducker, R.G.A., beloved husband of Lily Ducker, 128 Blue Bell-hill. God will link the broken chain, closer when we meet again. – Sorrowing wife and children. “DUCKER. – Killed in action, June 26th, Gunner Percy Ducker, R.G.A., age 26. – Deeply mourned by his loving brother and sister, Jack and Priss (Leicester). “DUCKER. – Killed in action, June 26th, our dearly beloved youngest brother, Gunner Percy Ducker, R.G.A., age 26. O Lord Thy purpose we cannot see, but all is well that's done by thee.
