Military History
Private/Signaller John Parker, enlisted in Nottingham he formerly served in the 2/7th battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Regiment) and later transferred to the 15th Battalion, he was killed in action on 28th March 1918. He has no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.
