Pte. William Barker, 8th Battalion Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment, died of gunshot wounds to the right leg, left knee and a fractured skull, at No. 3 Canadian Stationary Hospital on 8th December 1916. He is buried in Doullens Communal Cemetery Extension No. 1.Grave Reference: III F 9
