Henry Claudian Taylor was born in 1891 the son of Arthur Timms a lace dresser and Elizabeth Taylor (née Charlton). Arthur Timms Taylor was born in 1864 at Nottingham, Elizabeth Charlton in 1865 also at Nottingham. He was the brother of Ethel b.1886, Mable b.1889, Harold and Elsie b.1896 Taylor. In 1901 they lived at 53 Vicarage Street Huntingdon Street and in 1911 at 21 Woodborough Road (both Nottingham). Henry Claudian Taylor married Edith Cox in 1915.
