Bernard Walker was born in 1885 the son of William a lithographic printer and Sarah Walker (née Richards) of 3 Northville Terrace, Nottingham. His father was born in 1865 at Nottingham and his mother in 1864 also at Nottingham. Married in 1882 they had seven children - Nellie b.1882, Bernard b.1885, William b.1887, Edith b.1889, Beatrice b.1892, Arthur b.1895 and Mabel b.1900. Bernard married Emily Nix, who already had a daughter Clara, in 1909. They had a daughter Emily in 1910. In 1911 they lived at 6 Alpine Terrace Hunt Street Blue Bell Hill Road Nottingham. At the time of Bernard’s death his wife and family were living at, 70 Stamford Street, Grantham.
