Family History

In 1911 he was lodging at 18 Pump Street Nottingham. He was the husband of Harriet (née Swinscoe) Walters and the father of Charles Henry and Charlotte Swinscoe.

Military History

His ASR survives but most of it is illegible. He enlisted 18/4/1913 weighing 106 lbs and standing 5'4" tall and was placed into 3rd (Special Reserve) Bn Sherwood Foresters. He was posted to the BEF on the outbreak of hostilities arriving in theatre (France) 28/11/1914. He received a gunshot wound to the face 29/5/1916 returning to duty over a year later 18/6/1916.

Extra Information
