He was the son of Arthur and Agnes Perry and the brother of Mary Harriet and Rita Perry. In 1911 they lived at 31 Waterway Street Meadows Nottingham.
Driver Frank Perry, enlisted at Nottingham and served with “O” 34th Trench Mortar Battery, Royal Field Artillery, he was killed in action 20th June 1916. He was buried in Becourt Military Cemetery, Bercordel-Becourt Grave Reference: I 0 10
There exists no record of Frank Perry serving with Royal Marine Light Infantry during the Great War. Id confirmed by Soldiers' Effects Register (mother's name) In memoriam published 20th June 1918 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “PERRY. – In loving memory of our dear son and brother Frank Perry, killed in action June 20th, 1916, late of 187, Castle-boulevard.
