He was the son of James and Hannah Morris and the brother of Frances, Walter and Arthur Morris. In 1891 they lived at 2 Queen's Walk and in 1901 at 63 Wilford Road (both Meadows Nottingham).
Ben Frederic Morris was taken prisoner 23/3/1918. Admitted to No 42 Stationary Hospital Courban on 18th November 1918, he died two days later.
Nottingham Evening Post obituary (abridged) 27 November 1918: MORRIS on the 20th inst, Ben Frederic Morris of 11th Royal Fusiliers, died in France after repatriation from Germany. Charmes Military Cemetery Essegney Grave Reference: I G 5.
