William Arthur Wildblood

William Arthur Wildblood was born in 1889 at Bridport Dorset and was the son of the Reverend Charles Wildblood a Wesleyan Methodist Minister and his first wife Marion Wilblood née Barrs. His father Charles was born in 1855 at Burslem Staffordshire and his mother Marion Barrs was born in 1857 at Church Stoke, Montgomeryshire,(she died in 1925 aged 68 yrs in Bradford) they were married in 1885 their marriage was recorded in the Forden Registration District, Montgomeryshire, they went on to have the following children, Leonard b1883 Bridport, Charles b1887 Wolverhampton, William Arthur b1889 Bridport, Gladys Marion b1892 St John's Wood, London.Horace Barrs b1893 Lowestoft, Walter Gordon b1899 Redditch.In the 1911 census the family are livng at The Mause, 2 First Street, Low Moor, Bradford and are shown as Charles Wildblood 56 yrs married a wesleyan Methodist minister, he is living with his children, William Arthur 22 yrs a university student, Gladys Marion 19 yrs a student teacher and Horace Barrs 18 yrs a newspaper publishers clerk, also living with the family is Florence Farr 25 yrs a domestic servant. In the same 1911 census his mother Marion Wildblood is not at the family home, she is found as a visitor and shown as Marion Wildblood 53 yrs she is at 21 Park Street, Lytham, Lancashire and is visiting Ellen Powell 77 yrs a widow and her family.
