Family History
He was the son of Bryan Webberley of Sheepshill Farm Ashbourne Derbyshire and the husband of Sarah Elizabeth Mary Webberley of 17 Lynn Croft Eastwood. His real name was Wibberley.
Military History
He first enlisted at Liverpool 18/11/1887 giving his age as 20 although he was actually 18. He served in India with the Royal Artillery and discharged after 12 years 17/11/1899. He re-enlisted at Nottingham 15/9/1914 aged 45 years 83 days under the name Webberley. He was transferred as Lance Corporal to (387072) 589th Home Service Employment Corps Labour Corps and died in the UK from pleurisy.
