Family History

He was the husband of Rebecca (née Liley) Goodall, whom he married in 1906 (O/N/D Mansfield). Rebecca was born in Sutton in Ashfield in 1883 (birth registered O/N/D Mansfield. They had one son, Harry Connelly Goodall, who was born in 1911 (J/A/S Basford). In 1911 Tom (26) and Rebecca (27) lived at Fryston Villas, Crocus Street, East Kirkby. Their only child, Harry, was born some months after the date of the census. Tom's widow married Ernest J Heppenstall in 1920 (J/A/S Mansfield). Rebecca's brother, Bertie Clarke Liley, joined the Royal Navy and was killed on 26 November 1914 when HMS Bulwark sank after a catastrophic explosion.
